  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Field Area Managers are responsible for overseeing and managing a specific geographic region or area
    for a company. They are typically responsible for a team of Field Service employees and ensure that
    they meet company and customer targets, objectives, and requirements. This mission critical role
    involves working on a variety of technologies including, media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO),
    ion exchange (IX), and ultrafiltration (UF).

    **Duties &Responsibilities **

    • Lead and manage a dispersed team of Field Service employees within an assigned geography and business segment
    • Manage contracts and operations at our customer sites to ensure a safe working condition, contract compliance, and financial performance
    • Responsible for staffing and the development of Field Service employees within your assigned geography and business segment
    • Responsible for operational metrics such as Environmental, Health and Safety performance, employee utilization, overtime, and operational performance, and operational costs
    • Responsible for proper operation and maintenance of equipment at customer sites in area of responsibility
    • Help build strong relationships with our customer base
  • Qualifications

    **Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities **

    • Previous management and leadership experience with a field-based team
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate with internal and external customers
    • Strong troubleshooting skills - ability to analyze and resolve problems
    • Demonstrated ability to complete and successfully implement projects on time
    • Intermediate computer and computer-based tools and applications skills

    Education & Experience

    • BS degree in a technical field – for example Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or five years’ experience and relevant leadership experience in industrial water, wastewater, or food & beverage water treatment solutions or related field
    • Ability and willingness to travel within assigned geography, with an estimated travel of 30-60%
