About the role: The (FSS) Field Service Support Technician provides on-site maintenance for our customers’ equipment. Responsibilities: • Installing and testing equipment • Troubleshooting issues, and making repairs • Responding to user needs and ensuring the optimal running of all systems • Load and unload shipments for all incoming and outgoing orders with use of pallet jack or hand truck • Scan and upload data regarding incoming shipments • Install applications / Setup Wi-Fi profiles • Troubleshoot basic computer hardware and software applications by repairing or replacement • Travel to outside locations for IT customer service • Reference point for all related queries.
Candidate requirements: • Minimum of 18 years of age with a High School diploma or GED • Must be able to pass full background check and drug screening • Ability to install equipment, diagnose problems, and make repairs • Strong time-management skills and ability to stick to a tight schedule • Excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for troubleshooting technical issues • Reliable vehicle and up to date vehicle insurance, able to travel to outside locations for IT customer service • Knowledgeable in computer technologies (Windows / Apple / Chrome etc.) • Knowledgeable in Wired and Wireless networks • Microsoft Office skills (Word / PowerPoint / Access / Excel) • Good Verbal Communication and writing skills • Good organizational skills • Excellent customer service skills
