    Project planning and budgeting:

    Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and work schedules.

    Site supervision:

    Monitor construction progress on-site, inspect work quality, and address any issues with subcontractors.

    Safety compliance:

    Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations.

    Stakeholder communication:

    Regularly update clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders on project status, including progress reports and budget updates.

    Subcontractor management:

    Select and manage subcontractors, assigning tasks and ensuring their work meets project standards.

    Permitting and compliance:

    Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.

    Risk management:

    Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and address any project challenges that arise.

    Quality control:

    Conduct quality inspections to ensure project meets design specifications.

    Project closeout:

    Finalize project documentation, conduct post-project reviews, and ensure all necessary approvals are obtained.

    Required experience and skills:

    Several years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in a supervisory role

    Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and effectively communicate with stakeholders

    Technical knowledge of construction methods, building materials, and industry standards

    Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction documents

    Project management skills including scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment

    Excellent problem-solving abilities to address issues that arise on site

    Ability to negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors
