  • Responsibilities

    Position Summary: Supports the Senior Project Engineer and Engineering Department to ensure the successful design, documentation, and deployment of projects, as well as being a liaison between the field techs and the engineering department.

    Responsibilities/Duties

    • Create detailed technical drawings including as-built plans, elevations, AV Plans, BTU calculations, and more
    • Create materials take-offs based on engineered plans
    • Work collaboratively with builders, clients, sub-contractors and others to ensure the success of our projects in the construction phase
    • Provide instruction and feedback to field crews for items and issues that need correction based on design changes
    • Document the pre-wire phase by taking pictures and video of all AV rough-in wiring
    • Execute and maintain the project engineering process
    • Complete assigned tasks given by Engineering team and co-workers
    • Monitor job status when on site

    Abilities

    • Attention to detail and well organized
    • Ability to clearly communicate details verbally and in writing
    • Follow-up and follow-through on own initiative
    • Proficiency with systems including MS Visio, MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word
    • Ability to understand and interpret architectural floor plans, elevations, and technical drawings
