    Job description Field Network Technician / IT Tech Support / Managed Services Technician (Bay Area-San Francisco), not a network administrator. Successful IT Support Services Company is seeking a Quality Technician who is a team player, good at troubleshooting, has an excellent attitude, and has a great work ethic. There will be a combination of on-site customer appointments and remote desktop support in our main office in Campbell. This position requires driving and working at various client sites in the greater Bay Area for ongoing projects. There will be some lifting required and work on weekends. Must have a reliable vehicle, insurance, and a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities: The Technician will be responsible for the installation, setup, support, maintenance, troubleshooting, updating, and repair of Servers, IT networks, computer hardware, and software, printers, wireless networks, anti-virus programs, routers/switches, etc., at client sites. This includes following up with customers to keep them informed of the status/progress of their issues/projects. This position also supports voice and data communication equipment, along with the associated wiring. Creating IT documentation. Qualifications: Good interpersonal and communications skills, customer relationships; ability to work independently; work efficiently under pressure; demonstrates team spirit; exhibit a sense of urgency in a system-down the situation, responding quickly to end user technical issues; must be willing to learn new skills with the ability to follow written procedures and guidelines; meet deadlines and prioritize assignments. Required: 4 years of working and managing networks, and 2 years of experience in MSP (Managed Service Provider). Advanced troubleshooting techniques; quick adaptation to new technologies; solid knowledge of PC, servers 2022, 2016, 2012, network, Windows11, Windows 10, and Windows Server Domain controller. Preferred certifications or proficiencies: A+, MCSE, Network+, CNA, Apple Certified. Experience in Networking Healthcare (Dental) offices, installing network Cat5e/Cat6 cabling and certifications will be a big plus. In addition, applicants should be prepared for the following on a regular basis: Documenting a history of each project or service call provided; answering calls (clients or office); filling out and submitting work orders; driving to clients' sites; entering time or invoicing in an online scheduling system or similar; flexibility with work schedule (Possible weekend service calls, installation and support duty).
