The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership, knows how to prioritize tasks, works well independently, and can think critically to solve issues — not just execute instructions.

Manage and resolve tickets related to IT infrastructure, including Windows servers and network issues.

Implement and maintain backup solutions (Acronis, Veeam) and manage RMM/PSA tools (e.g., ConnectWise).

Ensure security compliance and manage antivirus solutions.

Provide technical support to end-users, both remotely and on-site at L2 and above.

Collaborate with L3 engineers and the physical team for project implementation.

Maintain and configure internal IT systems and provide end-user training.

    Perform other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

A valid driver's license and a reliable car for travel (mileage reimbursement provided).

Proficiency in Active Directory (AD), DHCP, DNS, and MS Exchange.

Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with backup systems (Acronis, Veeam).

Understanding of the OSI model and ability to explain technical procedures to non-technical users.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with various stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and work in a flexible environment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Strong IT background.

Knowledge of technology processes, infrastructure, information security, servers, and

network technologies (layer 2 and up).

2+ years of experience supporting core Microsoft end user technologies (Windows 10, Windows 11, Microsoft Office, Microsoft365) in a help desk role.

2+ years of experience supporting Microsoft infrastructure technologies (Windows Server and related).

2+ years Cisco and Fortinet Network Security Expert certifications or equivalent experience with Fortinet security products.

    Fluent in English (professional level)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience with Cloud Backup systems

Experience with cloud backup systems and cloud platforms.

Familiarity with Cisco (CCNA), Fortinet, Ubiquity, and other network vendors.

Experience with ConnectWise RMM/PSA, Acronis Cloud, Windows Server (2016-2022),

Cisco Meraki, Google Admin, VoIP, UniFi systems, CCTV systems, and Active Directory.

Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.

Prior experience in the MSP field is a big plus.

Experience with cybersecurity protocols or compliance frameworks (HIPAA, PCI DSS)

    Benefits:

Opportunities for professional development and career growth.

    Supportive and friendly team environment.

Gas and per diem reimbursement for travel across Texas.

Friendly, flexible work environment with direct communication and no micromanagement

This role is best suited for someone who takes initiative and doesn’t require constant supervision. We’re looking for a self-starter — someone who can assess the situation on-site, ask the right questions, and follow through until the job is done. If you enjoy solving real-world problems, learning on the go, and being trusted with responsibility, we’d love to hear from you.
