Summary – Field Technician - Utility Systems Inspections: In this position you would play a key role in locating and performing inspections of underground utility systems to detect and assess potential issues essential to the well-being of the communities you live and work in. Responsibility Summary – Field Technician \- Utility Systems Inspections:
- Assist in locating and performing inspections of underground utility systems through the use of specialized equipment.
- Prepare the site for inspection and clean-up equipment following inspections.
- Following proper safety procedures on all work sites.
- Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment as needed.
- Document work completed through the use of field notes and tablets
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualification Summary – Field Technician \- Utility Systems Inspections:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Possess and demonstrate proficiency in the above responsibilities
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time
- Preferred experience in a hands-on, outdoor settings
- Preferred experience in utility locating
- Candidates with safety training and certifications are highly preferred (OSHA 10 Hour, confined space entry, CPR/First Aid, etc.)
