The Field Installation Project Manager coordinates & manages all site installation projects. They are responsible for sourcing and evaluating suppliers, materials, and equipment to acquire the most cost-efficient solutions without compromising on quality or project deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Travel to site for pre-installation coordination
Prepare daily logs and reports for factory and client
Ensure project is signed off and accepted by client
Coordinate transportation from factory to site
Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met
Reviewing progress, and liaising with factory production teams to monitor costs and schedules
Liaising with the client, other construction professionals, and members of the public
Coordinating and supervising construction subcontractors
Selecting and procuring the proper tools, materials, and equipment to arrive onsite according to schedule
Assist with contract negotiation, permitting, and/or licensing
Preparing site reports, designs, and drawings
Assessing and minimizing risk before and during installation
Performing safety inspections to ensure construction and site safety
Maintaining quality control standards and procedures
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
Ability to foster positive teamwork and motivate others
Coordinate all warranty calls and issues
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Required minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Project, Production, or Manufacturing Manager and/or site construction foreman experience
Strong mathematical skills to provide accurate forecasts, budgets, and costing
Strong knowledge of building methods, codes, and regulations
High-level of attention to detail
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional talent in negotiating and networking
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster strong client and subcontractor relationships
Physical Requirements:
Ability to frequently travel (requires passport or Real ID compliance to fly, clean driving record, and ability to pass site drug screening requirements)
Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks (lift, carry, push/pull, climb, kneel, squat, crawl, bend, reach)
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
Ability to perform the essential job functions in compliance with all local, state, and federal standards
