    Job Description

    The Field Installation Technician is responsible for the installation and maintenance of equipment such as radio's, modem's, router's, and cables. Our technicians use their troubleshooting skills on a daily basis to diagnose and solve problems. WeLink technicians are responsible for installing and maintaining equipment in a residential setting. This will require the technician to work on the rooftop, ladder, and inside the customer's home. Basic networking knowledge is required for router configuration. Technicians will have direct contact with WeLink customers on a daily basis and must maintain a clean and professional appearance.

    Experience/Qualifications

    • Ability to comfortably work on/from a rooftop and from heights
    • Climb ladder with equipment
    • 6+ months of similar experience
    • 6+ months of customer service experience
    • Attention to detail and safety conscious
    • Ability to safely lift 75 lbs
    • Ability to properly use safety equipment
    • Basic knowledge of the telecommunications industry
    • Comfortable working with computers
    • Satellite, cable, or telecommunications experience
    • Basic network troubleshooting experience
    • Valid Driver's License (Will be operating a company vehicle)
    • Must be 21 or older
    • Must be open to working Tuesday - Saturday: 8:00am - 4:30pm (November - March) 10:00am - 6:30pm (April - October)
