    Role : Field Service Technician

    We are seeking a field service technician to provide outstanding support to our customer base. In this role, you will use your technical expertise to repair and resolve customer issues.

    Duties and Responsibilities :

    • Provide expert on-site service support including problem diagnosis, analysis, and repair services.

    • Provide product and system installation services.

    • Assume ownership of customer issues and follow through until issues are resolved.

    • Maintain appropriate levels of communication with the customer to ensure that the customer is well-informed before, during, and after service engagements.

    • Ensure that services are provided in the time frame promised to the customer, and that the quality and completeness of work performed meets or exceeds the expectations of the customer.

    • Provide feedback on product, installation, and service quality issues.

    • Provide User Application Training on proper use of safety, security, and asset Location products and system solutions provided by RF Technologies.

    • Responsible for accurate completion, timely submittal and archival of required service documentation.

    • Maintain operational efficiencies, high uptime, and security for all company owned or managed data networks.

    Basic Requirements and Skills:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 5 years' experience with electronics and/or RF equipment.
    • Solid proficiencies with IT systems.
    • Low voltage systems installation and/or repair experience.
    • Ability to travel at least 80% within territory.

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • Experience with wireless networks, including setup, configuration, and testing.
    • Ability to use standard test equipment including multimeters, analyzers, and programmers.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to discern issues to solve problems.
    • Ability to plan, organize and coordinate several tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong relationship building skills.
    • Ability to work independently within a team environment, and with minimal direction or feedback.
