    Job Description

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop project plans with milestones and resource assignments.
    • Provide necessary program direction for planning, organizing, developing, and integrating projects across multiple functional areas.
    • Assigning schedules, supplies and equipment to staff members
    • Equipment inventory cycles for all field service vehicles
    • An ability to communicate with the traveling public, co-workers, contractors, and inspectors clearly and confidently.
    • Traveling to customer sites and evaluating Traffic Control Supervisors and Flaggers
    • Helping employees to improve and tracking employee progress
    • Maintaining all rules, safety standards and responsibilities
    • Submitting necessary reports to all stakeholders (senior leadership, HR, dispatch, billing)
    • Manage project staff according to the established policies and practices of the organization.
    • Responding to all on-call tasks and supporting Traffic Control Supervisors under your supervision.
    • Lead project meetings, prepare meeting agenda and minutes, and follow up on action items.
    • Maintain files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured.
    • Evaluate and assess project results and provide recommendations for future improvement.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

    • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation skills)
    • Simple Accounting
    • Proficiency with technology
    • Proven experience in creating and carrying out successful plans and processes to solve complex problems
    • Ability to read and understand a traffic control plan
    • Clean Motor Vehicle Report
    • Ability to obtain ATSSA certification

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    Bending, stooping, climbing, lifting up to 75 pounds

    Pre-employment drug screen

    80% in field setting, 20% in office setting

    EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

    • BS Degree in Construction Management or equivalent education or experience.
    • Experience in the relevant industry, for example, utility construction
    • Excellent project management, organizational, time management, and leadership skills
    • Good Communication, customer service and problem solving skills

    The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
