    Job Title: Field Representative

    Reports to: Executive Director

    The Field Representative will directly assist the Executive Director in implementing policies essential for the operation of programs aimed at supporting farmworkers and low-income populations.

    Responsibilities:

    Representation: Represent the organization (COFFO) and the Executive Director at county functions and meetings as assigned.

    Program Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of programs, including staff training, supervision, evaluation, and making recommendations for hiring or termination.

    Administrative Maintenance: Manage administrative duties such as office management, disbursement records, intake and case management records, retrieval of referral outcomes, and inventory management.

    Task Completion: Ensure the successful completion of personal tasks as well as the tasks of other office members.

    Legal Knowledge: Be well-versed in the legal issues affecting indigent Migrant and Seasonal Farm Workers (MSFWs) and related low-income populations, including food stamps, unemployment benefits, immigration, and minimum wage laws.

    Supervision and Coordination: Manage operations within a designated geographic area, supervise personnel, request and allocate resources, and coordinate with other service providers, clients, and the general public.

    Qualifications:

    Education: Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience (two years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree).

    Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant experience, with expertise in the categories outlined in the responsibilities section.

    Languages: Bi-lingual, with fluency in English and Spanish (Creole is a plus).

    Other: Must have a valid Florida driver's license.

    This role requires an individual with strong leadership skills, knowledge of social service programs, and a commitment to serving vulnerable populations.
