    Position Overview: We are seeking a Field Safety Technician to join our team for a utility-scale solar project. This role is critical in ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with safety regulations on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction safety and a passion for promoting a culture of safety. The Field Safety Technician reports to the Project Safety Manager.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Conduct regular safety inspections and audits on the construction site to identify potential hazards.

    Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures in accordance with OSHA standards.

    Provide safety training and orientation for new employees and subcontractors.

    Monitor compliance with safety regulations and assist in accident investigation and reporting.

    Collaborate with project managers and field teams to promote safety awareness and best practices.

    Maintain safety documentation and records, including incident reports and safety training logs.

    Respond to safety incidents and emergencies, providing first aid as necessary.

    Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in safety regulations.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of 1-2 years of field safety experience in construction.

    Valid OSHA 30-hour certification.

    Current First Aid/CPR certification.

    Previous experience in solar energy projects is a plus.

    Strong knowledge of safety regulations and practices in the construction industry.

    Proficiency with technology and software used for safety management.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
