Position Summary – Field Technician: As a Field Service Laborer you will be responsible for loading and unloading equipment for jobs and assist in service, repair, and installation of large, industrial application water pumping systems. Responsibility Summary – Field Technician
- Identify and pull hose, pipe, fittings, and pumps in performance of maintenance and repair activities
- Utilize motorized equipment handling machinery to safely load/unload equipment.
- Assist in securing loads.
- Ensure yard and loading areas are clear of debris and trash and equipment is organized and easy to access.
- Follow all safety processes and procedures.
- Travels locally as needed to assist with mobilization/demobilization of systems on customer job sites.
- Assists in connecting pipes, setting pumps, and dismantling equipment/accessories when the project is complete.
- Assist in diagnosing issues with diesel powered heavy equipment.
Qualification Summary – Field Technician
- High school diploma or equivalent
- General mechanical aptitude
- Prior experience in a hands-on, field-based (i.e., outdoor) position
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment and/or machinery preferred
- Diesel engine experience preferred but not required
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Ability to follow directions and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel locally as needed
- Ability to read, write legibly and communicate effectively
- Ability to safely operate diesel-powered hydraulic lifting equipment
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds
