    Cypher LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Representative (FSR) Engineer to support mission-critical operations in telecommunications, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and software development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux, Python, software development, system integration, and cybersecurity with expertise in embedded real-time systems, telecommunications, and cloud infrastructure. This role requires travel to client sites and direct interaction with end users, vendors, and government agencies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Deploy, integrate, and maintain 5G, cellular, and satellite communication systems for government and defense applications.

    · Provide on-site installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of mission-critical software and hardware solutions.

    · Utilize expertise in Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu) and Python to develop, maintain, and optimize software applications for fielded systems.

    · Perform system diagnostics, debugging, and performance analysis to ensure reliable and secure operations.

    · Support DevSecOps pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform for CI/CD deployments.

    · Conduct cybersecurity assessments and vulnerability mitigation for embedded Linux environments.

    · Develop and execute test plans, automation scripts, and system validation procedures using tools like PERL, TCL, Coverity, and PolySpace.

    · Provide technical support and training to government personnel and end-users.

    · Document system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and operational procedures.

    · Collaborate with DoD, NASA, and government stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and mission objectives.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    · Strong proficiency in Python, C++, Java, and scripting languages (Bash, PERL, TCL).

    · Extensive experience with Linux-based operating systems (RedHat, Ubuntu, VxWorks, RTOS, UNIX, Solaris).

    · Hands-on experience with cloud computing (AWS, Salesforce Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack).

    · Familiarity with 5G RAN, Open Network Automation Platform (ONAP), and Open Air Interface (OAI).

    · Expertise in cybersecurity principles, network security, and vulnerability management.

    · Experience in machine learning applications for cybersecurity (TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-Learn, H2O.ai).

    · Strong understanding of DevSecOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, Maven).

    · Knowledge of DoD/NASA standards & compliance frameworks (NIST, CMMI Level 5, NPR 7150.2, SSP-57003).

    · Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in embedded real-time systems.

    · Ability to work independently in field environments with minimal supervision.

    · Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interfacing customers, vendors, and government stakeholders.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    · Experience with AI/ML for cybersecurity applications.

    · Knowledge of network protocols (GSM, UMTS, LTE, CDMA, TCP/IP, SIP, VoIP).

    · Familiarity with biometric security systems.

    · Experience supporting government and military contracts.

    · Certifications in Linux, AWS, or cybersecurity-related fields (CISSP, CEH, OSCP, Security+).
