Position Overview

As a Field Service Robot Operator at Onsight Technology, you will play a pivotal role in the operation, maintenance, and deployment of our advanced robotic systems on solar sites. This role requires traveling to various sites where robots are deployed or are to be deployed, to carry out repairs and ensure successful robot installations. When not on service calls, you will remotely operate and monitor the robots to ensure optimal performance. Proficiency with hand tools and a strong focus on safety are essential. You will work as part of a dynamic team that leverages cutting-edge technology to optimize the operation of solar energy facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor robotic systems remotely to inspect and maintain solar sites.

Travel to deployment sites to perform repairs or install robotic systems, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and effectively.

Collaborate with the technical team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to robot operation.

Ensure that robotic systems are operating within specified parameters and safety standards.

Essential to operate robots in a safe manner while on customer sites and at all times.

Spending extended periods of time sitting and staring at computer screens.

Keep detailed records of robot activities and maintenance procedures.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients.

Assist in the deployment of robotic systems at various solar sites.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (technical education or certification is a plus).

Previous experience in robotics operation, maintenance, or related fields is preferred.

Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Flexibility to work in various outdoor conditions and travel to different solar sites as needed.

Knowledge of solar energy systems is a plus.
