The Position:
- Role: Field Service Specialist – Wheel Service
- Reports To: Service Operations Manager- Wheel Service
- Location: Remote
- Key Focus: Manage field service teams, ensure excellent service for customers, and assist in training and implementing service programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Work with stakeholders to address service needs and plan for future business growth.
- Customer and Partner Relations: Ensure service expectations are met for national accounts, end users, and channel partners.
- Service Provider Management: Oversee insurance, labor rates, inventory, and training compliance.
- Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry standards and adjust policies accordingly.
- Collaboration with Third Parties: Partner with industry associations (e.g., ASE, EPA 609 certification) to promote products.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Gain expertise in assigned products and assist with field troubleshooting.
- Training: Develop and deliver training programs for service teams and customers.
- Travel: Willingness to travel for training events, troubleshooting, and trade shows.
Education & Experience:
- Required: 10+ years of experience in automotive equipment, with expertise in wheel service products like tire changers, balancers, and alignment.
- Preferred: Experience as a field service technician or instructor, particularly with lift inspection protocols.
- Systems Experience: Familiarity with Salesforce, GoToWebinar, AS400, and MS Office tools is beneficial.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of automotive equipment principles.
- Ability to work independently and influence without direct authority.
- Experience working with contractors and a diverse group of individuals.
Salary :
$90k
