    As the Field Services Associate, you will play a vital role in providing tenant support, operations support, and maintaining our company physical assets, by managing calls from tenants regarding property repair issues, providing excellent customer service, documenting service needs accurately, and coordinating schedules with field leads to dispatch staff or vendors for service needs. Additionally, the role involves reviewing work orders, checking communication channels for new service requests, and ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up.

    As the Field Services Associate , you will:

    • Process service requests from tenants, advocates, case managers, support staff, and others regarding property repair issues using multiple sources, including phone, email, and custom applications.
    • Provide excellent customer service for tenants.
    • Accurately document service needs in the property management system, including the issue and necessary contacts.
    • Review work orders from the previous day to ensure completion and follow up on any unfinished tasks.
    • Check voicemails, emails, and other communication channels for new service requests and generate corresponding work orders.
    • Communicate effectively with households, providing notice for upcoming visits, and handling various inquiries.
    • Provide basic troubleshooting for call-in service requests to promote immediate remedies instead of dispatching field personnel.
    • Identify and process needs for follow-up work orders to complete service needs in a timely manner.
    • Be responsible for preventative maintenance work orders and administrative support.
    • Support pest control services, including the disbursement of bed bug encasements.
    • Coordinate and collaborate with Facilities and Leasing teams as needed.
    • Coordinate warehouse and garage organization and cleanliness.
    • Manage the distribution and receiving of inventory and keys.
    • Provide support and reporting for company performance measurements, including callbacks and timeliness.
    • Enter invoice details into work orders, generate follow-up work orders if needed, and flag invoices needing field lead/manager attention.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred.
    • 1-2 years of experience in property management or home maintenance required.
    • 1 year in the field of I/DD preferred; 2 years in a related field preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Yardi, forklift operation (training provided), driving large vehicles, and typing (minimum 38 WPM).
    • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Customer service-oriented with attention to detail.
    • Reside in Franklin County.
    • Hold/Maintain a Driver’s License in good standing.
    • Pass background checks and drug testing.
    • Provide on-call support and maintenance services during non-regular working hours.
