    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and versatile Part-Time Resident Manager with handyman skills to assist in the day-to-day operations of our residential property. Housing provided free or at discounted rate and paid hourly for all work performed! Located in the heart of Fruitvale, this position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in a thriving community.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
    • Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance needs and address any issues promptly.
    • Assist with leasing activities, including showing units to prospective tenants and facilitating lease signings.
    • Respond to tenant inquiries and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
    • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for larger repair and renovation projects.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and inventory.
    • Uphold safety and cleanliness standards throughout the property.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in property management, maintenance, or related field preferred.
    • Strong handyman skills with the ability to perform a variety of repair tasks independently.
    • Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    • High level of attention to detail and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Experience with higher-level contractor skills (e.g., remodeling, renovations) is a major plus.
    • Must be available to work part-time, with 10-20 hours per week.

    Compensation:

    • Hourly rate: $20-25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
    • Housing provided free or at discounted rate.
    • Part-time position with flexible hours.
