The San Francisco Film School is looking for passionate and seasoned instructors to join our vibrant faculty in the following area: • Film/TV Cinematography Instructor We are hiring faculty members for the Spring 2022 semester. Teachers must be able to commit to at least 6 hours of teaching per week. Since many of our classes are being taught online, you must be comfortable with remote teaching and do not have to be located in the San Francisco area to apply. Responsibilities: Faculty members are expected to: • Work with the school's Dean to design curricula for each class • Foster student engagement • Create a supportive environment for students and encourage them to do their best work • Perform all duties related to their teaching in a timely and professional manner • Attend bi-monthly faculty meetings • Coordinate with school administration on student attendance and grading Qualifications: • Minimum of five years of professional experience as a working cinematographer • Bachelor degree in film, design, or related field • Experience working with both HD and 4K workflows for TV and film • Teaching experience preferred, but not necessary • A reel of top quality work (please include link to your reel in application) Compensation: $50 - $60 hourly
