    Currently we are seeking a Final Assembly - CNG Tech to join our team and be an essential part of our manufacturing team. This person will complete assigned tasks within the mounting department to include CNG duties, cab wiring, chassis prep, and hydraulics. This person will utilize a hands-on approach and usage of tooling and equipment. This person will report to the Mounting Supervisor.

    Your Role in Our Mission:

    Route New Way wiring harnesses through the chassis into the cab.

    Integrate DOT chassis harnesses to New Way DOT harnesses.

    Install camera systems, scale systems, and radar systems.

    Install custom cab consoles with body switches.

    Prepare the chassis for the body of the truck by installing a variety of brackets.

    Modify the frame of the chassis to fit the truck body by moving around fuel tanks, relocating battery boxes, air dryers, air tanks, and routing air and fuel lines. Use plasma cutter, torch, and grinder to make modifications.

    Mount and plumb hydraulic components to the chassis.

    Install Power Take Off assemblies, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic tanks, hi psi filters, and hoses.

    Crimp and route hoses.

    Assemble sub-assemblies, structural parts, and plumbing for fuel systems.

    Inspect all components for consistency and critical fits during the assembly process.

    Check all assembly work to ensure a defective free assembly prior to final quality checks.

    Operate, clean, and maintain different pieces of tooling and equipment.

    Complete all required documentation.

    Operate equipment in a safe manner and report hazards associated with the equipment or its operation to the appropriate personnel.

    To Perform this Job Successfully:

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

    Manufacturing experience in a related industry preferred.

    Mechanical aptitude and the ability to utilize hand tools.

    Computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems are preferred.

    Ability to read work orders, blueprints, production schedules, and operation sheets to determine the sequence of operations and material needed to complete the process.

    Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.· Ability to maintain regular attendance in accordance with company attendance policies.
