Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable and Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for providing support in the areas of accounts payable and human resources functions within the nonprofit organization. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable: Process and maintain accounts payable records, including verifying invoices, coding expenses, and preparing payments for approval. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Communicate with staff regarding payment inquiries and issues. Assist with month-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
Human Resources: Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives as needed, i.e. personnel record maintenance, and benefits administration.
General Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative tasks, mailings, post office, scanning, and filing Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.
