    A leading alternative investment firm with a strong presence in real estate and private equity is seeking a highly skilled Investment Accounting Associate to join its dynamic team.     Key Responsibilities:
    • Supervise third-party administrators and review monthly/quarterly property financial statements.
    • Convert property financials from tax/historical GAAP, IFRS, or other bases to US GAAP.
    • Prepare and review disposition gains, waterfall calculations, and promote allocations.
    • Ensure compliance with income recognition and capitalization policies.
    • Coordinate year-end property audits and assist with tax return preparation.
    • Collaborate with deal teams, asset management, and operations on acquisitions, dispositions, refinances, and capital activity.
    • Support valuations and coordinate with audit firms and fund accounting teams.
    • Handle ad hoc projects and contribute to cross-departmental initiatives.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 2-6 years of experience in real estate accounting, public accounting, or fund administration.
    • Strong understanding of journal entries, financial statements, and financial reporting.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with accounting systems is a plus.
    • Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized with strong communication skills.
    • Proactive and adaptable in fast-paced investment environments.
    Compensation & Benefits:
    • $120,000 - $155,000 base salary plus performance incentives.
