Finance Administrative Assistant
Reports To: Controller

Job Purpose & Position Overview
The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of routine clerical, reception, and office support functions within the Finance Department.
Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Demonstrate the Winnebago tribes core mission vision and values
General Clerical duties include answering phone, filing, photocopying, scanning, answering emails, etc.
Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and manage calendars for senior staff
Maintain office operations by receiving, sorting and distributing mail and other communications; picking-up and delivering intra- and inter department items.
Shall be responsible for ordering and payment of office supplies, equipment, etc.
Provide general support to visitors and assist other staff members
Must have basic knowledge of tribal organization and functions.
Answer and direct calls
Entering invoices for the finance department and/or other tribal programs
Close POs for all departments within the Winnebago Tribe.
Log revenue for deposits as well as assist customers with electronic payments.
Maintain the credit card check out process.
Conduct data entry and update information in spreadsheets.
Maintain filing systems, databases, and records.
Involved in managing projects within the department to provide for more efficient accounting.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
High School Diploma
Must have extensive training and experience in computer operations including word processing, spreadsheet management and database operations. Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.
Must be thorough and maintain a high degree of accuracy.
Must possess skills in personal program management.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.

Physical Requirements:
Heavy office work which includes the ability to lift up to 30-50lbs.
Regularly required to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, phone and various office equipment.
While performing daily duties, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
Ability to work outside in weather extremes.

Language Requirements:
Must possess the ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
