As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented Finance Coordinator to join our dynamic team and support the financial operations of our subsidiaries.
Position Summary: The Finance Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of Zalta Capital and its subsidiaries. This role will assist with financial reporting, budgeting, account reconciliation, and transaction processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external guidelines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. candidate will report directly to the CFO in our Neptune City office.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the holding company and its subsidiaries.
Process invoices, payments, and expenses, ensuring timely and accurate data entry into financial systems.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring proper coding of expenses and revenues.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including data collection, analysis, and input into financial models.
Coordinate with the accounting and finance teams of subsidiaries to ensure consistency infinancial reporting and compliance.
Monitor cash flow and prepare weekly cash reports to ensure optimal liquidity management.
Assist in the preparation and tracking of capital expenditures, including budget adherence and reporting.
Support the preparation of tax filings, audits, and other compliance-related activities.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather financial information and provide relevant insights for decision-making.
Assist in the implementation of financial systems, process improvements, and internal controls.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years of experience in a finance, accounting, or bookkeeping role, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry.
Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with high attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
