    In addition to our internships being paid, we will also offer the following for our Academic Year interns:

    Academic Year Recruitment Timeline:

    April 21 – May 9: Applications Open (may close early due to applicant volume)

    Early May – Mid June: First round video interviews

    Mid June – Mid July: Second round interviews

    Throughout July: Selected candidates receive offers

    Academic Year Internship Program:

    • Program Dates: September 15, 2025 – April 17, 2026

    • Time Commitment: 16-24 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need. We will do our best to accommodate course schedules.

    • Format: Opportunities listed will require an intern to work from Universal City, CA.

    Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to:

    • Global Distribution – International Finance: This intern will be involved in sales and revenue forecasting, working directly with the sales organization to develop and review revenue budgets in over 100 territories. In this role, the intern will also be responsible for creating and maintaining deal analysis/financial models will and provide insight to key trends in the markets.

    • Universal Pictures Home Entertainment - Global Finance: In this role, the intern will support the UPHE team in day-to-day operations focused on the oversight of $100M+ global cost & marketing budget, including assisting with TV pacings and ultimate reviews, long-range planning, and helping drive the Airlines growth segment.

    • Film Finance: This intern will have ownership of digital record-keeping processes for our shows, P-card management, invoice coding/processing, and creating or maintaining cheat sheets for important show info.

    • Universal Pictures Production Finance: The Production Finance intern will cover a range of responsibilities under the Universal Pictures finance team, including having ownership of digital record-keeping process for our shows, P-card management, performing invoice coding/processing, and creating or maintaining cheat sheets for important show info.

    • Global Distribution – Controllership: The Global Distribution Accounting and Reporting team is seeking an intern who will support projects including the monthly and quarterly close process, financial audits and SOX compliance, customer audits, and monthly reporting to third parties for whom NBCU serves as the distribution agent.

    • Universal Studio Group TV Production Finance: This intern will have ownership of digital record-keeping processes for our shows, P-card management, invoice coding/processing, and creating or maintaining cheat sheets for important show info. Special projects include cost analysis/reporting, processing payroll invoices. and tackling various issues that pop up during production and wrap.

    • Peacock Revenue & Digital Integrations: Peacock’s Revenue Growth & Monetization team is seeking a Digital Integrations Intern to support the development and implementation of revenue generating sponsorship campaigns spanning Peacock, TV Everywhere, and social media platforms. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Digital Integrations, this highly collaborative and cross-functional role will work across a wide array of teams - Ad Sales, Consumer Marketing, Platform Editorial, Product, Video Operations, and social media - to implement campaigns, secure revenue, and maximize performance. You will be a member of the rapidly growing Peacock organization, where attention to detail, relationship building, collaboration, and client satisfaction are keys to a successful candidate. This role is ideal for students interested in learning about project management, advertising sales, content monetization, streaming revenue, and operations.

    Basic Requirements:

    • Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (September 2025 through April 2026). December 2025 graduates are not eligible for our 2025-2026 Academic Year Internship Program.

    • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).

    • Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.

    • Must be available to work 16-24 hours per week from September 15, 2025 – April 17, 2026.

    • Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA.

    For further clarification, candidates currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) are not eligible to apply unless they will be able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.

    NBCUniversal is an E-Verify company, requiring all employees to have an active Social Security number. Any candidate receiving an internship offer must complete I-9 form with Social Security number within 3 days of hire.

    Desired Characteristics:

    • Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.

    • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

    • Students pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.

    • Previous internship or work experience within finance.

    • Strong interest in the media industry.

    • Ability to multitask and highly organized.

    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

    The hourly rate for student interns is $25.00.
