Palo Alto Networks is looking for a Finance Manager to join its Corporate Finance team. We’re looking for a self-starter with strong analytical skills, deep working knowledge/understanding of financial statements, an effective communicator, and a team player with a collaborative mindset who is passionate for driving change in a dynamic fast-paced environment. This highly visible role reports to the Finance Director, Corporate FP&A.
Your Impact
Drive and manage monthly P&L forecasting and consolidation process with a focus on accuracy and providing insights related to risks and opportunities
Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting with high accuracy and efficiency
Work collaboratively with functional and business unit finance leaders to drive efficiency in our processes and reporting to scale for growth
Play a critical role in highly visible projects in Bookings and OPEX
Play a critical role in the annual plan process and target setting, including ownership of the annual operating plan financial model
Supervise and maintain the budgets for corporate rates on behalf of the company and partnering with the People Team on insights and savings opportunities
Partner with the Finance Systems team in driving data integrity and automation
Closely partner with Accounting, External Reporting, and Investor Relations on quarter end deliverables
Drive and provide support for ad-hoc strategic and financial analyses
Qualifications
Your Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business/Finance/Accounting; advanced degree/MBA a plus
5+ years related experience in Finance (ideally FP&A) or Accounting
Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, capable of seamlessly moving from the big picture to the details and back
Deep analytical understanding of all 3 financial statements and the interconnection amongst them.
Power Excel user who is comfortable with large data sets and familiar with PowerQuery and PowerPivot
Expertise in Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, etc.)
Experience with and/or willingness to master various financial systems, including SAP, SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud), Tableau, and other BI tools
Strong team player, independent thinker with high intellectual and emotional intelligence; Resourceful and proactive approach to problem solving
Effective presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex topics in a distilled manner
Deadline-driven, very organized, with willingness to adapt to the rapid business and organizational demands that result from a high-growth environment

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $116,000 - $188,000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
