    Job Title: Finance Manager

    Location: Costa Mesa, California

    Overview:

    Daisy is a national smart space installation and services company that simplifies smart home and office technology to make it work optimally, solving one of the biggest in-home problems today and bringing more joy into the lives of our clients. We are seeking a Finance Manager who will oversee the financial health of our growing Daisy Orange County branches and will consistently work to maximize the value of the business. On a day-to-day basis, the Finance Manager will manage the business’ books and finances, all required financial reporting, and develop plans for the long-term financial goals of our business. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and team player who will consistently perform all accounting and finance related tasks in a timely manner, and advise senior managers on increasing efficiencies, supporting expansion plans and building profit-maximizing strategies.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Reporting to branch leadership; conduct financial planning: preparing financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts

    Collaborate with leadership or employees on financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting

    Help management make financial decisions: collaborating with other team members to achieve monetary goals, providing feedback on department’s financial performance as applicable

    Manage project billing and following up with key accounts on AR needs

    Conduct regular P&L, Balance Sheet, WIP, and Cash Flow reporting to both internal branch and broader Daisy leadership

    Analyze market trends: Maximizing profits and finding expansion opportunities

    Facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business

    Review financial reports: seeking ways to reduce costs

    Maintain accounting systems; driving the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices

    Undertake business income tax calculation and filing; reconcile tax balances with tax officers

    Managing an end-to-end audit process of current systems

    Continually identifying risks to delivery; effectively manage stakeholder expectations

    Participate in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems when applicable

    Serve as the main point of contact for the HR platform; including running payroll, and expense reimbursement and other administrative/people support

    Support on other duties as requested by branch leadership

    Additional Requirements:

    Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, in finance, accounting or related field

    3-5 years of experience relevant experience in finance

    Experience in a home services, project-based business a plus

    Competency with NetSuite and Quickbooks Desktop is preferable

    Highly organizational, detailed oriented with strong analytical skills

    Strong knowledge of accounting and specifically small business accounting

    Problem-solving skills and a creative, investigative nature to probe data for key insights

    Keen commercial and business acumen

    Interest in growth, efficiency, and profitability

    Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships

    Clear communication and reporting skills - both written and verbal

    Ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives at once while adhering to deadlines

    Eagerness and ability to learn new programs and systems quickly

    Experience collaborating with HR and/or managing payroll administration a plus

    Ability to maintain sensitivity around confidential business and employee information

    Highly accountable and team-oriented; always seeking to provide a positive impact on Daisy’s supportive and collaborative, yet high performance culture

    Compensation and Benefits:

    $105-115K based on experience and expertise + performance bonus
