    Job Description

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to lead our Operations Finance business and support our expansive property operations. This role is critical in providing strategic financial direction and ensuring operational excellence across the company. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in financial management and in-depth understanding of large multi-unit operator to optimize performance and drive growth.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Operations Finance: Lead operations financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for multiple property locations for both financial and operational metrics.
    • Budget Management: Lead the development and management of comprehensive budgets for various property locations. Ensure alignment with corporate strategies and monitor adherence to financial plans.
    • Variance Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of actual-to-budget variances, identifying underlying causes and recommending corrective actions to ensure financial goals are met.
    • Financial Reporting: Oversee timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and performance reports for senior management and operations leadership.
    • Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate on strategic initiatives aimed at driving growth and improving operational efficiency. Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making processes.
    • Special Projects: Lead and manage special financial projects, including system implementations, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.
    • Team Leadership: Fostering an environment of knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide essential financial insights and support company-wide goals and objectives.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
    • 5-7 years of progressive financial management experience, preferably with a multi-unit operator, with a strong background in budgeting, variance analysis, and forecasting.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing strategic initiatives and leading special projects to successful outcomes.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and ERP systems.
    • Experience with SQL and Business Intelligence and Analytics platforms .
    • Demonstrated ability using analysis in a problem-solving manner rather than just as a caretaker, by developing new analysis and improving existing analytical methods.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
    • Multi-unit experience preferred.
