This Finance Manager role is critical to leading and scaling their finance operations, with a clear path to potentially transitioning into the CFO role as the company continues to grow.

    Role Overview:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for leading our financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions, while also preparing the company to bring accounting processes in-house within the next 6-12 months. This role will report directly to the CEO and will play a key part in driving strategic financial decisions, improving analytics, and ensuring the business is prepared for its next phase of growth. The ideal candidate will have a vested interest in the company’s success, with the potential for equity compensation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and oversee outsourced bookkeeping services until internal functions are established.
    • Develop financial strategies to support our rapidly growing revenue, including exploring opportunities to position the company as a profit center.
    • Prepare for potential audits as we near the $5M revenue threshold.
    • Help evaluate and integrate financial tools (e.g., Power BI) to enhance analytics and reporting capabilities.
    • Partner with Sales, Operations, and Product teams to align financial planning with business goals.
    • Support leadership with fundraising efforts, financial modeling, and investor relations as we scale.
    • Lead the transition from outsourced bookkeeping to in-house accounting, including potentially hiring an Accounting Manager.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA/CPA preferred)
    • 5+ years of finance experience, with a focus on FP&A
    • Experience in SaaS or other tech-focused industries preferred
    • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and KPI analysis
    • Familiarity with financial systems and analytics tools (experience with Power BI is a plus)
    • Ability to scale finance functions in a high-growth environment
    • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Executive teams
    • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment
    • Equity-minded; looking for someone with a vested interest in the company’s success
