    Responsibilities

    Human Resources:

    • Monitor and ensure the timely and effective onboarding of Managers in Training (MITs) and employees.
    • Collaborate with district managers to ensure proper training protocols are followed.
    • Track and enforce deadlines for training milestones, including manager tests.
    • Provide feedback and support to district managers to address training gaps.
    • Audit training checklists to confirm they are filled out accurately and regularly.
    • Establish a crystal-clear job description for every employee.
    • Develop and enforce onboarding and ramp-up plans with mandatory milestones for every position.
    • Read "Measure What Matters" by John Doerr and apply its principles to establish OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for every position, including the owner's position.

    Accounting and Financial Management:

    • Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, P&Ls, and cash flow statements, by the 10th of every month.
    • Update cash needs projections monthly for short-term (next 6 months) and long-term (12-24 months).
    • Track costs associated with new locations and ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
    • Send weekly cost updates for new locations to Alex H.
    • Fully manage bookkeeping tasks with complete accuracy and independently handle all accounting functions.

    Strategic and Administrative:

    • Consult senior management to understand business needs and provide HR and financial guidance.
    • Partner with senior leaders to advance key initiatives and promote a positive, engaged workforce.
    • Demo and present three OKR software solutions to ownership for consideration.
    • Partner with the CEO and other executives on special projects to define new operational strategies.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years experience in a dual Finance and HR role or similar capacity.
    • Master's or bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Accounting, or a related field.
    • PHR or SPHR certification is strongly preferred.
    • Strong expertise in HR practices, including FMLA, LOA, ADA, and training protocols.
    • Advanced proficiency in financial management and reporting.
    • Results-driven and highly organized, with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
    • Ability to travel as required (approximately 10% of the role).
    • Strong leadership and project management skills with an executive presence.

    Conditions of Employment

    • Must be willing to submit to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation, including fingerprinting. Job offers are contingent on background/security investigation results.
