Financial Analyst

Banyan Search is working with a well-established client to find a Financial Analyst to join their growing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis efforts that help drive strategic decisions across the organization. If you enjoy working with data, solving complex problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, this could be a great fit.

This is a hybrid position based in Winston-Salem, NC, with in-office presence expected a few days per week.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll dive into financial data and help translate it into meaningful insights for leadership and stakeholders across the company. From budgeting to forecasting to supporting business initiatives, this role offers variety, visibility, and the chance to make a real impact.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyzing regional and operational budgets to support performance tracking
• Reviewing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
• Preparing variance, trend, and scenario analyses to support decision-making
• Supporting major business initiatives through thoughtful analytics
• Building dashboards and reports from ERP data to uncover actionable insights
• Helping to improve and streamline financial processes
• Handling special projects and responding to ad hoc analytical requests

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
• 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or reporting
• Strong Excel skills – you know your way around pivot tables, formulas, and models
• Comfortable working with large datasets and ERP systems (Power BI a plus)
• Ability to present financial insights in a clear and compelling way
• Strong communicator who works well with others and can partner across departments
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to juggle multiple projects
