    The Opportunity

    As Financial Analyst, you will be a strategic, financial, and operational thought partner to the payments and customer experience team. You will play an integral part in driving and supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting as well as building dynamic, detailed, and scalable financial models for our fast-growing tech company. This position is hybrid position in South Jordan, Utah (M, W, F in-office).

    What You'll Do:

    • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all financial statements.
    • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, partnering with business units to develop and validate financial plans.
    • Partner with key business partners to better understand the business and explain budget versus actual results.
    • Develop financial metrics and KPIs to monitor the performance of the company and provide regular reporting to the executive team.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
    • Work directly with the Finance Managers, Business intelligence, and Accounting to support key initiatives, provide visibility into the financials of the business and make recommendations.
    • Perform strategic ad-hoc analyses and research to turn data into more insightful information driving business decisions.

    What We're Looking For:

    • 2+ years of relevant experience (FP&A, investment banking, private equity, strategy, consulting, Big 4)
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
    • Experience with financial modeling and framing decisions with data
    • Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and Google Slides
    • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, and have the ability to distill detailed analysis into actionable insights and recommendations
    • Entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable with ambiguity, and eager to drive improvement
    • High attention to details with excellent organizational skills and ability to take charge, set objectives, and embrace and drive change
    • Work cross-functionally and drive consensus among various stakeholders

    Interviewing @ Canopy:

    We know application processes can be a little stressful. Here's are the stages of a typical interview process:

    • Once your application is received, we will review it and get back to you if we feel like it's a mutual fit!
    • 20 minute phone call with the People Team
    • 45-60 minute video or in-person interview with the Hiring Manager
    • 1-3 rounds of interviews depending on the role
    • Final Interview

    Interview processes can vary depending on the role. The People Team will give you a role specific overview of the process during your first phone call.
