We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst for an organization located in the Greater Sacramento area! Core duties and responsibilities include:

• Partner with cross-functional teams to prepare quarterly forecasts, budgets, and financial analysis.
• Maintain accurate costing for imports, co-pack, and manufactured products.
• Prepare and analyze month-end financial reports, including business segment and cost center reporting.
• Develop and enhance automated reporting and forecasting tools to streamline processes.
• Assist with financial modeling for new sales opportunities and profitability analysis.
• Support process improvement initiatives, ad-hoc analysis, and special projects.
• Assist with month-end close tasks and provide back-up support for the Accounting Manager.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, or related field.
• CPA certification (or in progress) is a plus.
• Experience in cost accounting and financial analysis.
• Background in supply chain, manufacturing, agriculture, or food production industries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data reconciliation and financial modeling.
• Familiarity with SAP, ERP systems, and budgeting / forecasting tools.

Compensation:

The range for this position is from $48 to $76 hourly, depending on experience.
