    JOB SUMMARY:

    · Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and budgets.

    · Analyze manufacturing costs, including direct materials, labor, and overhead, to identify areas for cost reduction and optimization.

    · Help track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and support data-driven decision-making.

    · Assist with variance analysis between budgeted and actual financial results, identifying trends and providing recommendations.

    · Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, sales, and supply chain) to gather data and improve financial processes.

    · Support the implementation of financial models and tools to forecast and assess profitability, return on investment (ROI), and cost efficiency.

    · Help prepare presentations for management on financial performance and strategic recommendations.

    · This is a full-time internship position with a duration of 10 weeks, Monday – Friday.

    · Assist in preparation of processes and procedures.

    · Complete special projects as needed.

    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Financial Analyst Intern will assist the finance team in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cost control efforts. You will gain valuable exposure to financial processes within a manufacturing setting, working alongside experienced professionals to drive financial decision-making and operational efficiency.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

    Related Experience:

    · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) and other MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint).

    · Basic understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, and cost analysis.

    · Familiarity with ERP systems or financial software is a plus (e.g., MAS90 Sage100 ).

    · Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

    · Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
