    Financial Analyst/Staff Accountant – Full-Time | Inland Empire Area

    An established and mission-driven organization in the Inland Empire region seeks an experienced Financial Analyst/Staff Accountant to join its finance team.     What You’ll Do

    • Compile and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for multiple entities in alignment with GAAP standards.

    • Oversee the month-end close process, including journal entries, payroll adjustments, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance using modern cloud-based accounting tools.

    • Analyze financial trends and performance data to produce internal reports and dashboards for leadership and operational teams.

    • Develop and monitor department budgets; track variances and partner with team leads to optimize spending and resource allocation.

    • Lead efforts around receivables management, including coordination with billing teams to ensure timely invoicing and collections.

    • Manage payables and oversee vendor payments; review and process expenditures, corporate card usage, and other disbursements via digital platforms.

    • Support the annual audit and tax preparation process in coordination with external firms.

    • Maintain awareness of relevant financial regulations and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and standards.

    • Recommend updates to existing financial procedures and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.

    • Provide ad hoc analysis and support for CFO-led initiatives and special projects.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, financial analysis, or FP&A.

    • Solid understanding of GAAP, budget development, financial reporting, and compliance processes.
