We are partnering with a growing company in Dallas, TX, to find an experienced Controller to lead their accounting operations and support the organization's continued growth. This role will focus on ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimizing processes, and providing strategic financial guidance to leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and the general ledger.
• Prepare, analyze, and present accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
• Work closely with external auditors and manage the audit process.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient solutions.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required.
• Experience working with private equity-backed companies is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor accounting teams.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
