    Financial Lead [Manager equivalent]

    A global law firm consistently ranked among the top firms in the world, is seeking a Financial Lead (FIC) to be an integral part of their Financial Analysis team and will be responsible for providing insight into the economic performance and financial health of clients, matters, and legal teams, while building and maintaining complex analytical models that leverage the firm’s data to provide insightful analysis and responding to specific requests of business partners and leading those colleagues toward a robust financial outcome.

    This role will be part of the Global Services Office located in downtown Los Angeles office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

     

    Responsibilities & Qualifications

    • Leveraging project management principles to manage firmwide financial projects and complete other complex financial requests needed by department management
    • Applying business, economic, finance, and accounting principles to the firm’s internal financial data to help firm leaders simplify and ultimately solve complex problems; leveraging SAP Business Objects to query data and Excel to effectively and efficiently synthesize that data
    • Ensuring emails received through the team’s shared email are handled in a timely professional manner, including prioritizing urgent requests, and ensuring effective handoff with the team in the next time zone
    • Developing standard tools for reporting and analyzing data
    • Maintaining detailed records documenting procedures and assumptions, methodologies, and sources of information employed during the performance of all analytical tasks

    Education/Skills:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
    • A minimum of five (5) years’ analytical experience in finance or accounting
    • Demonstrate excellent analytical skills
    • Display the ability to work independently to research, analyze, and develop financial information
    • Possess the organizational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
  • Compensation
    $150,000 per year
