    We are a fee-only wealth management firm that provides comprehensive advisory and investment services, as well as tax planning and preparation, all of which starts with a financial plan. Our goal is to utilize financial planning to find the point of balance between maximizing quality of life, while not putting our clients in financial jeopardy. We have a deep planning approach and a highly engaged investment approach. We believe in value delivery and never want our clients to question where the value exists.     We are expanding our team, looking for a Financial Planner that shares our passion. The primary functions of the job are to be able to develop comprehensive, thought-out, correct financial plans, coordinate recommendations with the other divisions of the firm, and meet with the clients to discuss. Financial plans will be required to be highly detailed and very thorough. The financial plan is the keystone to our process, and it is vital that the candidate's financial planning skills are elite, encompassing both cash flow and goals-based planning.

You have a strong background in relationship management and financial planning, a strong sense of doing the right thing, and a passion for helping clients and team members alike. Your resourcefulness and attention to detail are always accompanied by impeccable follow-through. As a Financial Planner, you will work in a client-focused, team-centered environment supporting the firm's efforts in financial planning, business development, and unwavering commitment to delivering immense value. You can work autonomously without the need for micro-management and hold yourself accountable for completing your responsibilities. This position offers a generous compensation and benefits package including salary plus opportunity for incentive pay not centered around sales.

    Responsibilities

    • Engage directly with clients to understand their financial objectives and concerns
    • Effectively manage the client relationship and show accountability for retention and client experience
    • Gather data from clients and analyze their current financial situation; strategic development of comprehensive financial plans that align with their goals, recommend appropriate solutions, and assist with plan implementation
    • Collaborate with and provide financial planning guidance to the investment management, client service, and tax team to ensure the suite of recommendations being made are the most advantageous to the client and in their best interests
    • Keep up-to-date with cutting edge financial planning techniques
    • Demonstrate leadership capabilities to see projects and initiatives to completion
    • Excel in incredible follow up skills with clients
    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and information in the Redtail (CRM)
    • Ability to work in office during operating hours 8am-5pm

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, financial planning, or a related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of client-facing financial planning or wealth management experience
    • Required: CFP® designation
    • Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and analytical skills
    • Strong knowledge of and the ability to present investment, financial planning, insurance, and tax planning concepts
    • Coachable team player who prioritizes clients and the team’s needs over personal interests; willing to support colleagues when necessary
    • Resourcefulness with a borderline obsessive attention to detail
    • Strong computer aptitude with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
    • Charismatic, positive, and poised; enjoys interacting with people, can have difficult conversations, and doesn’t buckle under pressure
    • Ability to adapt and learn quickly, can figure things out for themselves
    • Experience with MoneyTree, Morningstar Office Online, Redtail, or similar softwares preferred
    • Determined and dedicated; willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done right and on time

    Benefits

    The Financial Planner is a full-time, W-2 position. We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000, plus quantifiable bonus. Benefits include a retirement plan, health insurance including dental and vision, paid time off, and many more!
