    Passionate about? Faith is his #1 priority, followed by family—his wife and two kids. An avid golfer, Braves fan, and praying his kids have fantastic athleticism with even better hearts.

    Megan Fleming - Director of Recruitment:

    How long with NM? 4 years.

    Prior Experience? Spent 3 years as an Associate Financial Representative for an advisor. Before that, was a stay-at-home mom to her two children.

    Passionate about? Family first! Loves playing tennis or anything competitive, watching documentaries with her husband, and spending time with her 75-year-old dad. Enjoys bonding with her 12-year-old son (keeping up with Gen Z lingo), shopping and doing hair and makeup with her 7-year-old daughter, and spoiling her dog Mac.

    Dominic Scarpelli - Growth and Development Director and Financial Advisor:

    How long with NM? 6 years.

    Prior Experience? Worked in a hybrid salaried/commission sales role for a medical software company, specializing in revenue cycle management and selling to hospitals, health systems, and larger medical practices.

    Passionate about? Enjoys fishing, hunting, and playing video games. Lives with his wife, Brooke, and their dog, Lupo. Passionate about land ownership, reading sci-fi novels, international travel, and NFL football.

    Jon Blankenship - Financial Advisor:

    How long with NM? Completed the NM internship program in college.

    Prior Experience? A graduate of Georgia State University who began his career with Northwestern Mutual right after completing his internship.

    Passionate about? Faith and family are central to his life. He’s married, a new dad, and a big Georgia Bulldogs fan—GO Dawgs! Loves golf and is dedicated to leading a youth group at his church.

    Sam Williamson - Future Financial Representative:

    Prior Experience? Former attorney who relocated to the United States from New Zealand.

    About the Financial Representative Role:

    As a Financial Representative at Northwestern Mutual, you will be part of a team that helps individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals through personalized insurance solutions and financial planning. Your role involves building long-term relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs, and providing tailored financial solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their financial goals, aspirations, and concerns.

    Financial Planning: Develop comprehensive financial plans that include investments, insurance, and retirement.

    Insurance Solutions: Recommend and implement insurance strategies to protect clients' assets and income.

    Ongoing Support: Monitor clients' financial plans and provide regular updates, adjusting strategies as needed to meet changing circumstances.

    Networking: Build and maintain a network of clients through referrals, community involvement, and professional associations.

    Qualifications:

    Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred.

    Experience: Previous experience in financial services, insurance or business development is beneficial but not required.

    Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.

    Licenses: Obtain necessary licenses, such as Series 6, 63, and state insurance licenses (training and sponsorship available).
