    Must be Licensed in Lousiana New York Life Insurance Company, a mutual life insurance company, together with its subsidiaries, provides a range of insurance and investment products and services. The company offers life insurance, long-term care insurance, and group disability insurance products, as well as mutual funds. New York Life Insurance Company is an equal opportunity employer M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity SMRU 1827565 Exp 7/1/2020 IND123 Responsibilities: • Onboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking, and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policies • Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to date • Process current policyholders’ insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims • Evaluate new customers’ insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations • Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies Qualifications: • Previous health insurance or life insurance experience a plus • Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products • Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree is a plus • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must • Must be licensed in Louisiana Compensation: $78,000 - $154,000 yearly
