This is a full-time Sous Chef role located in New Orleans, LA. The Sous Chef will oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. The Sous Chef will also be responsible for training and managing the kitchen staff, ensuring that all food safety regulations are followed, and quality standards are met.
Qualifications
Prior experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fine dining or high-end restaurant
Excellent knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field is a plus
