Summary
The Fire Project Manager will play a crucial role in assessing and estimating the cost of Fire & Contents projects, liaising with clients, insurance adjusters, internal teams, and ultimately ensuring the successful completion of restoration project.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and review project scope and estimates, negotiate approvals, schedule resources, and coordinate production with crews.
Conduct on-site inspections to assess damage and restoration requirements.
Explain estimation details to clients and address any questions or concerns.
Ensure an accurate scope of work for projects and prepare estimates utilizing computer hardware and proprietary software.
Maintain communication with customers, teammates, vendors, and insurance representatives.
Secondary Responsibilities
Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines and manage multiple estimations simultaneously.
Valid driver’s license
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate and thorough estimates and documentation.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to clients, insurance adjusters, and internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years prior experience estimating in the insurance restoration industry.
High school diploma/GED
Experience with advanced estimation software and tools, such as Xactimate.
Xactimate Certification: Level 1/2
Working Hours & Travel
Job Type: Full Time
Standard schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
This position frequently requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day), including some evening and weekend work.
On-call rotation: You may be expected to participate in the departments on-call program. You will be notified in advance of participation.
Travel: Primarily local, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
Capable of lifting and carrying equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds, as required during on-site inspections.
Walking and standing for long periods of time, sitting, climbing ladders, working at ceiling heights, working in tight spaces (i.e., crawl spaces, attics).
Extensive computer use is required, including prolonged periods of typing, data entry, and working with various software applications.
Strong visual acuity to assess damage and construction details accurately.
