Adam Search Group has a fantastic opportunity for a fire pump service technician in the Columbus, Ohio, area. In this role, you will travel to different customer sites around the Columbus area and help them with the installation, service, commissioning, and repair of fire pumps for their buildings.

What they are looking for you to do:

• Commission, maintain, test, repair, and install fire pumps per NFPA standards.
• Commission, maintain, test, and repair domestic water booster pumping systems.
• Check motors for correct wiring, perform laser alignments, and program the controllers appropriately.
• Use calibrated equipment for testing accuracy.
• Troubleshoot high-voltage fire pump controllers.
• Disassemble fire pumps and booster pumps and rebuild them with new parts as needed.
• Training new employees.
• Communicate with city and state officials (fire inspectors, building officials, electrical inspectors, etc) and customers and problem-solve when any issues arise.
• Complete reports using Microsoft Office applications.

What they are looking for you to have:

• Mechanically inclined. The client will provide training.
• Ability to travel locally in Columbus and occasionally outside of Columbus as needed.
• Ability to work some early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed. The client will provide a vehicle for you to use.
• Fire Pump Certification is a huge plus. The company will pay for training and certification.
