Responsibilities

•As a Director or Assistant Director, you will educate parents, teachers, and leaders on the value of early childhood education and make that value come to life for the children in your center

•As the Director or Assistant Director you will lead the teaching staff in providing a positive and academically challenging learning environment for our children.

•Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children

•Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners

•Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed

*Schedule personnel, keep parents updated with events/field trips, keep records updated/complete for children and personnel, delegate personnel to keep facility clean/sanitized, observe and evaluate personnel, purchase materials as needed, work with the high school programs for teaching and childcare, interview and hire new employees, coordinate the training for new employees, organize staff developments, ensure employees sign in/sign out, make sure Firefly is ready for licensure visits, and keep owners updated when needed.

*Maintain budget for facility and oversee/input payroll using ADP and Brightwheel software.

The Assistant Director will support the Director.
