    Firm Liaison at Unique Law Firm Looking for a chance to join a close-knit, compassionate team of dedicated legal professionals? Our law firm is expanding and needs the help of an intake specialist to discuss our services with potential clients, as well as assess their needs. You would help take us to the next level and manage our growing caseload. Our ideal candidate is great on the phone, is a naturally compassionate and empathetic listener, and has a dedication to customer service. You must be able to relate to a variety of people in difficult circumstances and have a passion for helping those in need. You also wouldn't take yourself too seriously and could enjoy a high-pressure but very collegial team environment. In this role, you’ll have an opportunity to learn about legal defense (with a conscience), help a thriving law firm succeed, and make a tangible difference in our client’s lives every day. Responsibilities: • Compassionately help potential clients to find clarity about their situation, educate them about their legal options, and support them in making the best decision for their future • Explain our fee structure in a compelling way, without being "sales-y," and explore the other ways in which we support clients • Keep detailed notes in our CRM documenting all contact with leads • Refer out potential clients who do not meet our intake criteria in an empathetic and thoughtful manner • Follow scripts and procedures to ensure an excellent and consistent client experience • Actively contribute to a positive, goal-oriented team environment Qualifications: • Highly reliable, dependable, and punctual • Must be able to work Sunday through Thursday. Weekend may be worked remotely, if desired, after training period • Previous experience in the service industry preferred • Personal experience with a DUI is helpful • Ability to be confident, articulate, diplomatic, yet willing to speak frankly to the Potential New Client (PNC) when needed, with high emotional intelligence • Ability to be highly professional, personable, friendly, and respectful to potential clients and understand the art of building a relationship • Have a passion for helping others and the ability to convey compassion and empathy • Also have the ability to maintain self-care, and personal and professional boundaries with a population who may be in crisis • Ability to be flexible, make decisions, and problem-solve under stress • Ability to learn Oregon’s DUI and traffic laws, police investigations, Oregon’s court systems, and conviction/sentencing consequences (training provided) • Self-starter with strong multitasking skills • Self-motivated with the ability and drive to help achieve company goals Compensation: $22 - $27 hourly with bonus opportunities
