    Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team in Geneva. In this role, you will be responsible for working with toddlers, creating a nurturing and engaging environment, and supporting the developmental growth of young children. You will collaborate with a team of educators and interact with parents and the broader community to ensure the highest quality of care and education.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Set up and organize play equipment, ensuring that it is age-appropriate and safe for toddlers.

    Implement developmentally appropriate practices that foster learning and growth for children ages 0-3.

    Collaborate effectively with colleagues to plan and execute educational activities and events.

    Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and staff.

    Participate in community outreach efforts to connect with local families and support the mission of the program.

    Lift and assist in setting up materials or equipment weighing 10 pounds or more as required.

    Organize and sanitize toys as needed, helping to offer variety and cleanliness to the children who come to play.

    Qualifications:

    Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices, particularly for toddlers.

    Ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.

    Strong creativity and a passion for developing engaging, educational activities.

    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and approachable demeanor.

    Ability to engage with the community and build positive relationships with families.

    Familiarity with child development and knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.

    Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds or more.

    Preferred Skills:

    Prior experience working with young children, specifically ages 0-3.

    Bilingual or multilingual abilities (particularly in Spanish).
