Job Summary IN-PERSON - THIS IS NOT A REMOTE JOB The Customer Service Representative must have strong communication skills when speaking with customers. It is a MUST that you are able to deal with difficult situations while displaying a high level of professionalism, compassion and empathy when addressing customer's concerns. The ideal candidate should have some customer service background as well as computer proficiency. Customer Service Representative's main responsibility is the screening and intake of new claims and ensuring that the data is input correctly and accurately into the claim systems. You may be asked to search for technicians and assign technicians as service calls to our customers. Maintaining records and updating records as needed as well as maintaining a customer database with current information. Clear communication with department managers, fellow employees, technicians and customers is a must. Additional duties as assigned by management. WE WILL TRAIN YOU. We are looking for someone who has excellent organizational skills, advanced telephone skills, the ability to prioritize and make business decisions and a very strong attention to detail. Experience in a customer service environment is a plus but not required. Any background working in customer service whether in person or on the phone is a plus. Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required. Responsibilities include: * Handle incoming calls, inquiry, complaints from property owners * Handle incoming calls, inquiry, complaints from technicians * Provide information about claims and service providers * Handle incoming claims from customers * Open, maintain and update claim * Screening claim intake for eligibility * Document and update customer records based on interactions * Provide support to Sales and Dispatchers * General Office Duties * Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services * Other duties as assigned by management * Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution * Handle a claim assignment * Search and assign a technician from our internal system by geographic proximity to customer * Find a technician by geography proximity to customer location from leads * Research, compile and analyze data on the composition of the service network and regional service request queue activity to determine where contractors are needed and coordinate recruitment initiatives * Assign technicians to claim * Update & maintain claim files * Maintain the dispatch records * Update customer files as information is received * Support duties as assigned by management Required Skills and knowledge: * Proficiency using a computer * Effectively manage large amounts of calls * Commitment to providing high-level customer service * Demonstrating teamwork, high motivation, positive behavior, and results-driven * Maintain a sense of urgency and ability to work with and meet deadlines * Demonstrate effective communication, including the ability to actively listen, and problem-solve with minimal assistance * Ability to deal with difficult situations while displaying a high level of professionalism * Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy and organization * The ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently * Ability to learn new concepts quickly and be open to feedback Hours & Location: This is an IN-PERSON position THIS IS NOT A REMOTE JOB Please only apply of you are able to work in person.
