RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• MACHINE OPERATOR SPOT WELDING

This is entry level!  The company is more than willing to teach individuals how their spot-welding machines operate.  Essentially metal sheets are loaded into the machine repetitively and the robotic arm will execute the job.  You then quality check the part and stack the product.  This job requires you to move in repetitive motions consistently while standing throughout your shift.  If you feel you can learn and complete these tasks, then this job is perfect for you!  

• WAREHOUSE LOGISTICS

This is also entry level!  Do you like working with your hands, collecting parts, and actively loading material?  Great!   These openings require you to do just that while learning all the in's and outs of the facility.  You will be asked to collect finished parts from different welding departments.  You can collect parts by hand while loading them into company carriers then send them out to be delivered to the main plant facility.  Internal logistic team members will be unloading new parts and tools to be distributed throughout the plant to various different departments.  

• STAMPING MACHINE OPERATORS

This department offers individuals an exciting opportunity to learn the suppliers most crucial part of their plant.  Individuals who really enjoy fast paced physical work can do very well here!  You can learn all the different aspects of how the suppliers metal pieces are stamped out and possibly advance very quickly in this department.  You will start your new position by catching and quality checking multiple metal pieces exiting the machine and stacking the pieces consistently in carrier bins to be distributed to the welding department.  You as a team member will work with other team members to execute these task's and be responsible for keeping the plant going strong!  Your work matters!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a valid driver’s license and car insurance for your vehicle to pass Toyota plant security.  If you plan to have a ride take you to and from work, they must have a valid license and insurance.  A security pass will be given to you after you complete orientation.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening 
• Must be able to work in a loud, busy, fast paced industrial environment
• Must be able to work long shifts (10-12 hour shifts depending on varying workload) This requires you to stand, crouch, bend your body, and move material consistently throughout your shift.
• There is no bus route to this job nor can you walk onto the Toyota Plant grounds.  Must be by a vehicle.
• Must have steel toe boots or must be able to get steel toe boots (Wal-Mart sells starter pair for approximately $28-$30 a pair)
• Must be able to attend orientation on Monday morning at 6:30AM

SCHEDULE:

1ST SHIFT (DAYTIME SHIFT)  MONDAY - FRIDAY!  (SATURDAYS MAY BE NECESSARY)

6:30AM - 3:45PM (Shift times can vary, there are times you might work as late as 6:30PM)  These times are approximate.

2ND SHIFT (NIGHT TIME SHIFT)  MONDAY - FRIDAY!  (SATURDAYS MAY BE NECESSARY)

6:30PM - 3:45AM (Shift times can vary, there are times you might work as late as 6:30AM) )  These times are approximate.

PAY RATE:  $11.00-$11.75 (Depending on shift and department)

LOCATION: South San Antonio, 78264 (Toyota Plant)
