AT FIRSTSERVICE RESIDENTIAL ARIZONA, WE ARE LOOKING TO FIND A ‘FULL-TIME ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST" TO JOIN OUR ACCOUNTING TEAM IN THE SCOTTSDALE REGIONAL OFFICE.
This position is responsible for Accounts Receivable/Data functions as it relates to our department, Homeowners’ Associations, and their residents. The successful Accounts Receivable Specialist ensures:
A MINIMUM of 2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable and 1-2 YEARS of processing and analyzing Data using MICROSOFT EXCEL.
Ability to read, troubleshoot and improve existing Excel data sheets and format them for systems transition.
COMPUTER LITERACY: Intermediate knowledge of in MS Excel including VLOOKUP / HLOOKUP, CONDITIONAL FORMATTING, PIVOT TABLES, as well as some text functions and formula creation, etc.
Must possess strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational and customer service principles and practices.
Proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Word.

Experience including, but not limited to, the areas of Accounting, Finance, and Community Management. Superior verbal and written communication skills; confident in making presentations or creating back-up for a presentation.
Demonstrates excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to read reports, computer monitors, and to communicate with coworkers.
Ability to open file drawers, operate scanners and copier machines, move between departments, and attend meetings.
Ability to work extended hours and weekends/nights as needed.
Proficient reading and writing in English.
Professional grammar, complete sentences in written communication and use of proper e-mail etiquette.
Onboarding of new client files. Requesting, gathering, and transferring data company systems.
Communicating with Client Transition Team.
Strong motivation to learn new reporting and application development skills.
Urgency and accuracy of day-to-day data entry.
Proactively communicates account concerns/delinquencies with Supervisor, Client Transition Team and Community Manager.
Community Association Homeowner audits and reviews.
Payment application to appropriate Communities and Homeowners from homeowner checks, Lockbox and PayLease, as well as evaluation and processing Web Exceptions.
Use of bank software for payment uploads, research and tracking of payments.
Logging and adjusting of debits and credits on accounts, as necessary.
Post/Process of returned payments (i.e., NSF, etc.), refunds, Monthly, quarterly, Semi-Annual and Annual billing of Association fees to multiple, large Community Associations. Special assessment fees; tracking and processing.
Ability to respond to and manage high e-mail and phone call volume.
Maintains a calm, professional manner in all Resident and Community correspondences.
Maintains accuracy on homeowners’ statements and information.
Effectively communicates and enforces the Board policies.
Must pass background checks and drug testing.
